New Day Laundry Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Leadership Burbank and the Class of 2026 invites the community to celebrate the unveiling of New Day Laundry, a new mobile laundry trailer created to bring clean clothes, care and dignity to neighbors in need.

The ribbon cutting celebration will take place Wednesday, August 19, at 11:00 a.m. at The Salvation Army SAFE, located at 401 S. Front Street in Burbank.

Guests will have an opportunity to see the completed trailer, meet the people and organizations who helped bring the project to life, and celebrate a meaningful new resource for the Burbank community.

Created by Leadership Burbank’s Class of 2026 for The Salvation Army, New Day Laundry reflects what is possible when local organizations, businesses and individuals come together around a shared purpose.

The project was made possible through the generosity of donors and sponsors throughout the community, with lead support from Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center and UMe Credit Union.

The event is open to the community, and all are invited to attend.

July Recruitment Reception for Class of 2026-2027

You do not want to miss our next reception hosted by the Leadership Burbank Board of Directors.

The Clubhouse in the beautiful Talaria building (above Whole Foods) is our host location for an indoor/outdoor reception and The Capital Grille in Burbank will be hosting delicious cuisine and beer and wine. Poured specifically for our guests, these libations will be divine, along with hand passed hors d’oeuvres and special appearances by Katie and Head Chef Laura Reyes! Gather with all of our Leadership Burbank family as we toast to the summer and share new information about our 2026-2027 calendar year.

Our 9 month leadership development program is about to kick off and our application deadline is Friday, July 24th! You can apply online via this link. We are so excited to see who will join this fabulous program, starting with an Orientation on Friday, August 21st at 3pm.
As part of our three year strategic plan, we want to thoughtfully engage our alumni and better serve the Burbank community! At this gathering, you will hear our ideas and we’d like for you to share yours!
Plus hear from our Deputy Director, Renee Johnson, and the relaunch of our Leadership Burbank Legacy members.

This is a casual night out full of hosted drinks and treats with our Leadership Burbank family to gather in community.
