LB Celebrates… the 30th!

Listen up, you hep cats and classy dames!

Leadership Burbank is celebratin’ a whopping thirty years of makin’ things hum in this neck of the woods, and we’re throwin’ a bash that’ll be the cat’s meow!

 

Leadership Burbank is marking its 30th anniversary with “Sneakin’ & Sippin’ at the Speakeasy” — a glamorous, prohibition-inspired fundraiser set for Saturday, November 15 at 6:00 PM. We are transforming a Burbank favorite, Romancing The Bean in Burbank’s Magnolia Park neighborhood, to be our swanky speakeasy.

 

All night long, guests will enjoy an immersive experience, complete with thematic décor, silent auction, entertainment, drinks on the house and delicious dinner bites. Plus a few clandestine surprises — including a secret, walkable second stop for those “in the know.” A period-style password will be shared with confirmed guests ahead of the event.

  • Immersive 1930s-themed experience at our speakeasy located in the Romancing The Bean restaurant
  • Live cigar roller offering hand-rolled cigars throughout the evening
  • Silent auction featuring premium items, including a custom-curated bar cart

Individual tickets are $150 each and include hosted hooch, bathtub gin, prohibition-approved beverages, as well as dinner bites and desserts courtesy of our speakeasy at Romancing The Bean.

LB25 Ribbon Cutting and Graduation Ceremony

Leadership Burbank and the Class of 2025 cordially invite you to celebrate the completion of their leadership journey and class project, “Play Without Limits.”

Join LB and LB25 at the Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2024-2025 and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony where LB25 will unveil a variety of adaptive sports equipment, including fencing and hiking wheelchairs, that will be donated to the City’s new Adaptive Sports Program.

These inspiring events mark the culmination of Leadership Burbank’s nine month leadership program and the class project, “Play Without Limits,” which raised funds and awareness to provide a fleet of adaptive sports equipment to help ensure that residents of all abilities can participate in recreational and competitive activities.

Leadership Burbank invites our alumni, community members, city leaders, and program partners to attend the Graduation Ceremony and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of the program and class members.

  • At the Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday, May 14th at 5:30pm, the Board of Directors will officially graduate each member of the class in the Fletcher Jones Foundation Auditorium, and host a reception in the Atrium at Woodbury University. Leadership Burbank Board of Directors is thrilled to welcome Andrew Skinner, Founder and CEO of Triumph Foundation as the keynote speaker.

  • At the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, the class members will host this meaningful event beginning at 10am, which will feature brief remarks, an official “cut the ribbon,” and demonstrate the new equipment at the Gym at the McCambridge Recreation Center.

LB25’s Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser on Sunday, April 6th

Join LB25 and Leadership Burbank for this fun event supporting LB 2025’s Class Project Play Without Limits benefiting the City’s Adaptive Sports Program. LB25 is hosting a fun day including a welcome ceremony, pickleball tournament, adaptive sports exhibition, and more! All proceeds from the day will benefit their class project: Play Without Limits! Free for spectators to cheer their favorite team on, participate in fundraising activities, and gather in community to celebrate adaptive sports.
