Project Overview

Leadership Burbank Class of 2020, is excited to announce its class project. We will be walking alongside the staff and friends of “BCR: A Place to Grow,” an agency that has been serving children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the City of Burbank and surrounding areas since 1963. BCR’s mission is to provide quality program services for unique and special people who are largely discounted and unseen, but have a great deal to offer us all.

Project Need

Our class project will include resurfacing the facility’s playground – which has been shut down and is considered inoperable due to decades of wear and tear. Additionally, we will create a mock studio apartment that BCR will use to help its clients develop independent living skills. Finally, we will build a technology room for the center to teach valuable communication and learning skills.

Project Support

As we begin our fundraising efforts, as well as executing this year’s project, we welcome LB Alumni, LB sponsors, supporters, as well as current board members to help us make this year’s project one that will support BCR’s mission as well as lift the mission and values of Leadership Burbank for years to come. Visit and follow us on social media to learn more about ways to support our class project and to follow its progress.

Tax deductible donations can be made by visiting our class project PayPal site or by making checks out to “Leadership Burbank Class Project.” Checks can be mailed to Leadership Burbank, 200 W Magnolia Blvd. Burbank, CA 91502
