The Board of Directors of Leadership Burbank are thrilled to host our leadership development training through the lens of change management, social justice, civil discourse, and leadership. Digital applications are now available:
Leadership Burbank is thrilled to offer this opportunity to current and emerging leaders who live or work in Burbank and who have a vested interest in building a better Burbank. Applicants who are selected will enhance their personal and professional skills, gain a deeper understanding of the Burbank community, and join an esteemed network of colleagues and associates throughout the city. The upcoming class will kick off with a welcome orientation in August, 2025 and will culminate with a graduation ceremony in May 2026.
Leadership Burbank’s program is led by facilitators who bring their extensive knowledge in the tenants of leadership as well as their history in Burbank to the program. The curriculum addresses current leadership issues with guest speakers and alumni from both regional and local corporations, government, and social sectors. All of these experts will provide participants with their unique perspective to the enhanced curriculum and extend the opportunity to broaden their network with key leaders and organizations throughout Burbank who effect change on a daily basis.
To qualify as a candidate to participate in Leadership Burbank, this is the criteria:
- Live, work, or have a demonstrable vested interest in Burbank
- Possess a genuine interest in pursuing key volunteer, public office, board, or commission roles
- Embrace high standards of personal integrity, leadership, and a strong commitment to solving community challenges
- Promise to fulfill the time commitments necessary to complete the program
- Not be a candidate for public office at the time of the application or class
