July Recruitment Reception for Class of 2026-2027

You do not want to miss our next reception hosted by the Leadership Burbank Board of Directors.

The Clubhouse in the beautiful Talaria building (above Whole Foods) is our host location for an indoor/outdoor reception and The Capital Grille in Burbank will be hosting delicious cuisine and beer and wine.  Poured specifically for our guests, these libations will be divine, along with hand passed hors d’oeuvres and special appearances by Katie and Head Chef Laura Reyes! Gather with all of our Leadership Burbank family as we toast to the summer and share new information about our 2026-2027 calendar year.

  • Our 9 month leadership development program is about to kick off and our application deadline is Friday, July 24th! You can apply online via this link. We are so excited to see who will join this fabulous program, starting with an Orientation on Friday, August 21st at 3pm.
  • As part of our three year strategic plan, we want to thoughtfully engage our alumni and better serve the Burbank community! At this gathering, you will hear our ideas and we’d like for you to share yours!
  • Plus hear from our Deputy Director, Renee Johnson, and the relaunch of our Leadership Burbank Legacy members.
  • Save the date! We will be bringing back LB Scary in 2026! Start planning those costumes for Saturday, October 24th on the rooftop of Intro Burbank

As a small but long-serving charity in Burbank, Leadership Burbank invites new, emerging and established leaders to help create the community you want, while becoming the leader you truly are.

LB26’s Loads of Love Mixer at the Burbank Chamber

Calling all alumni, donors and Board members to support LB26’s class project: New Day Laundry!

Join Leadership Burbank Class of 2026 at their mixer “Loads of Love” on Thursday, March 26th at the Burbank Chamber

What: LB26 will be hosting lite bites, wine and beer, and loads of love for their class project! Class members will share the goals of New Day Laundry and host guest speaker, LB Alumni and Burbank’s Vice Mayor, Zizette Mullins. Every quarter counts in this new mobile laundry service that expands the current programs of the Salvation Army benefiting individuals and families in need!

How Much: Tickets are $25 and can be ordered online in advance through this link or you can pay at the door!

Where: Burbank Chamber of Commerce Board Room and Outside Terrace at 200 W Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank. Parking is on the surrounding streets

Calling all LB Alumni and friends!

Reconnect with Leadership Burbank while having some fun along the way. The Leadership Burbank Board of Directors invites you to join us for some laughs, surprises, and maybe some friendly competition when you bring a wrapped gift to exchange at Leadership Burbank’s annual White Elephant Party!

This is a casual night out full of hosted drinks and treats with our Leadership Burbank family to gather in community.

When: Wednesday, January 28th

Where: Equity Union Real Estate at 4404 Riverside Drive #D, Burbank – Parking is on the street or at the lot next door.

Time: 6pm to 8pm

Cost: Free or $20 suggested donation at the door or Donate Online

What is happening: One of LB’s legacy events is our annual “White Elephant Gift Exchange Party.” Got that present that is not to your taste? Wrap it up and bring it with you to the White Elephant Party. It might be just the thing someone else wants! Join LB for a night of fun, while you as you network with LB alumni, donors and friends. The gift exchange is not mandatory, but it’s ALOT of fun! Bonus: you can meet the next class of Leadership Burbank: LB26!

LB Celebrates… the 30th!

Listen up, you hep cats and classy dames!

Leadership Burbank is celebratin’ a whopping thirty years of makin’ things hum in this neck of the woods, and we’re throwin’ a bash that’ll be the cat’s meow! Thank you to all of our sponsors, guests, alumni, and leaders from all over Burbank!

 

Leadership Burbank marked its 30th anniversary with “Sneakin’ & Sippin’ at the Speakeasy” — a glamorous, prohibition-inspired fundraiser on Saturday, November 15 at 6:00 PM. We transformed a Burbank favorite, Romancing The Bean in Burbank’s Magnolia Park neighborhood, to be our swanky speakeasy.

 

All night long, guests enjoyed an immersive experience, complete with thematic décor, silent auction, entertainment, drinks on the house and delicious dinner bites. Plus a few clandestine surprises — including a secret, walkable second stop for those “in the know.” A period-style password was shared with confirmed guests ahead of the event.

Join Us!

The Leadership Burbank’s Board of Directors invites interested candidates to join us for our next recruitment reception on Wednesday, July23rd for the class of 2025-2026. All of our alumni and donors are also invited to attend and encouraged to bring someone who you think might be interested in the program. There is no cost to join us, however we do ask that you RSVP! You can always make a donation to support Leadership Burbank’s mission.

Enjoy hosted food and a drink on us! Come learn about Burbank’s premiere leadership program, ask questions, and mix and mingle with our Board and Alumni from 5:30 pm to 7pm at the conference room and outdoor reception area of the Burbank Chamber of Commerce
