LB Celebrates the 90s
What’s the Haps?
Leadership Burbank is throwin’ it way back to the 90s, and you’re totally invited! Dust off those flannel shirts, slap bracelets, and baggy jeans ’cause we’re about to party like it’s 1995 (that’s the year LB became LB!) — all for an amazing cause: Leadership Burbank!
When: Saturday, December 7th
Where: Nickelodeon Animation Studios West
Why: To support Leadership Burbank while living out the best decade ever!
Dress Code: Whether you’re rockin’ grunge, hip-hop, preppy, or a rad tracksuit, just come ready to have a blast!
Tickets are $150 each cause we are raising some serious funding to help LB realize their goals to build a better Burbank!
Each ticket will offer:
- Yummy 90s throwback dinner bites and delicious desserts catered by Love Catering, because it’s all about the love!
- Plus everyone 21 and older will be treated to a hosted bar – all night long – to keep the good vibes flowing.
- And, if that was not fun enough, all guests will enjoy some totally tubular throwback jams to dance the night away compliments of DJ Wickety Wilke!
- A chance to dedicate a fav song to your boo, a Golden Opportunity drawing for amazing prizes, and a live auction to help raise funds for LB!
This party is going to be all that, so bust out that fly ‘90s gear and join us! It’s gonna be totally fresh!

Why are we calling on all of our LB family to join us?
Leadership Burbank has been a part of the Burbank community for almost 30 years and our impact – through our class projects – has supported almost every aspect of Burbank, investing over a million dollars in goods, facility improvements, and life-impacting services. Plus, our 600+ alumni are in elected and volunteer leadership positions all throughout the city. We are totally local and totally committed to Burbank. The LB Board adopted a three year strategic plan this year and this event will help us reach our year one goals.
We totally need our LB family to help us reach our goals and begin the celebration of our 30th Anniversary Year!

July Mixer: Will You Be the Next Leader in Burbank?
You are invited to join Leadership Burbank’s Board of Directors for our next recruitment mixer on Thursday, July 18th for the class of 2024-2025 beginning in August 2024. All of our alumni and prospective class members are invited to attend. There is no cost to join us, however you can make a donation to Leadership Burbank.
Enjoy hosted food, wine and beverages! Come learn about Burbank’s premiere leadership program and mix and mingle with our Alumni from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Class of 2023-2024 Graduation Ceremony and Retirement Party for Mary Alvord and Sue Georgino
On Wednesday, May 15th, you and your guests are invited to the Class of 2024 Graduation Ceremony and Retirement Party honoring Mary Alvord and Sue Georgino!
LB24 class members will culminate their LB journey, share the success of their “A Cause for Paws” class project, and become the newest members of our esteemed alumni network. Mary and Sue have facilitated our nine month leadership program for 14 years, impacting the lives of over 300 of our alumni.
We encourage all of our alumni, partners, donors, Legacy Members, and former Board members to join us to celebrate their legacy and thank them for all of the guidance and support that they have provided over the years.
The Ceremony will be hosted at Woodbury University on Wednesday, May 15th, beginning at 5:30pm with a reception, followed by the class graduation at 6pm, and retirement party immediately following in the atrium.

Leadership Burbank’s Holiday Mixer 2023
Thank you to everyone who joined us at our recent Holiday mixer!
Over 50 leaders from all corners of Burbank joined us to toast the season, welcome the current Class of 2024, and raise funds that will directly benefit our mission. We hosted the mixer at L.A. Castle Studios which is a very cool technologically advanced 4K television and feature film studio in the heart of Burbank, across from Nickelodeon Studios.
