Leadership Burbank

Help create the community you want, while becoming the leader you truly are.

2026 Class Project: NEW DAY LAUNDRY

Every Quarter Counts

New Day Laundry is the Leadership Burbank Class of 2026’s class project, created in service to individuals and families in need throughout Burbank.

Rooted in service, integrity, building community, inclusivity, and compassion, this project responds to a critical gap in access to laundry services. Clean clothing plays a meaningful role in dignity, confidence, and daily stability, yet it remains out of reach for many facing financial hardship or temporary displacement.

By providing free, dependable laundry access, New Day Laundry reflects our class’s commitment to creating a thoughtful, practical solution that supports well-being and strengthens the community as a whole.

Every quarter truly counts, and each contribution helps turn shared values into lasting impact.

Why This Matters

Access to clean clothing supports more than hygiene, it supports dignity, confidence, and a sense of belonging. When individuals and families are unable to wash clothing regularly, it can affect daily routines, school participation, and overall stability.

New Day Laundry addresses this need with compassion and inclusivity by offering a reliable service available to those who need it. Through this effort, the Leadership Burbank Class of 2026 aims to promote equity, support daily stability, and help individuals and families feel cared for and connected within the Burbank community.

About New Day Laundry

New Day Laundry is a mobile laundry trailer equipped with washers and dryers and will be operated by The Salvation Army, expanding their existing services in Burbank. The trailer will operate alongside their mobile shower program, providing coordinated access to essential resources and support.

Designed to serve individuals and families in need, New Day Laundry will also be available during emergency or temporary displacement situations. As a custom-built project, community support is essential to bring this service to life and ensure its long-term sustainability.
