Leadership Burbank’s nine-month premiere leadership program helps established and aspiring leaders, like you, enhance their personal and professional skills and gain a deeper understanding of community dynamics – while providing access to our network of key individuals and organizations throughout Burbank who effect change on a daily basis.
During the course of the Leadership Burbank nine-month program, class members will meet with and learn from experts at these exciting Burbank destinations:
- The City of Burbank
- Providence St. Joseph Medical Center
- Hollywood Burbank Airport
- Warner Bros. Discovery
- Burbank Chamber of Commerce
- Worthe Real Estate Group
- Nickelodeon Animation Studios
- and more!
In a cohort of roughly 25 class members, our program will introduce you to the inner workings of Burbank’s City Hall, essential non-profits, the business and faith communities, and important civic organizations. Meanwhile, our hands-on curriculum, led by experienced facilitators and current leaders in the local and regional community, addresses issues of leadership, social justice, conflict management, public safety, economic viability, and the environment through real-world tutorials designed to set you on your path as a future leader in your community.
From January through May, each class selects and completes a class project to benefit the Burbank community based on shared class values in an effort to directly apply leadership principles and further the charity’s mission to help build a better Burbank.
Leadership Burbank’s nine-month program begins in September of each year and culminates with the graduation in May of the following year. Classes are held one Friday per month for nine months.
