The Leadership Burbank Class of 2017 class project was the creation of the John Burroughs High School Wellness Center benefitting Family Service Agency of Burbank and Burbank Unified School District in support of the students!
Leadership Burbank Class of 2017 understands that despite the incredible benefits that the new Wellness Center will provide to its students, it is unlikely that a comprehensive school-based mental health program can sustain itself without outside support. Two of the unique aspects of the Wellness Center that Leadership Burbank will
be funding are the center’s library and art therapy program. Our goal is to raise $30,000 which will fund the following:
Therapeutic Books for the Center’s Library – $9,000
Art Therapy Supplies- $15,000
Ceramics Kiln (installation and housing)- $5,000
Furnishing- $1,000
